The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides funding for afterschool and summer school enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.
“Expanded learning” means before-school, after-school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Expanded learning programs are student-centered, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.
PCCS offers school day and intersessional ELO programs. Before-school and after-school ELO times are included in the annual school calendar. Intersessional ELO programs are offered during school breaks. Schedules and registration forms are sent to families at least one week before the break when an ELO program will be offered.
All ELO programs at PCCS are available to enrolled TK-6th grade students. Families must complete and return a registration form if their student plans to participate in an intersessional program. Check here for the current intersessional schedule and registration form.
